Daphne Glasmacher (b. 1979, Ede, Netherlands) is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. She explores perception through light, movement and reflection. Her work is not only meant to be seen, but to be experienced, revealing how perception continuously shifts through time, space and perspective.

Inspired by natural phenomena, she develops layered compositions in which image, light and material interact. Through geometric forms, rhythm and contrast, her work brings together opposites such as stillness and motion, order and disruption, resulting in a balanced harmony.

Since her first presentation in 2017, where she introduced a video installation at Parklicht Amsterdam, her practice has expanded across disciplines. In 2022, she began presenting her 2D works alongside installations. Today, she works fluidly across 2D, objects, and video installations.
